A Few Good Words
The submission period for CWP's Fall 2012 anthology,
"A Few Good Words" has now closed.
Thanks again for your interest in CWP and for allowing us to read your work.
Our editors remain busy getting your stories and poems whipped into shape. If you've submitted work for our consideration but have yet to hear back from us, please be patient. We received a record number of both fiction and poetry submissions this year, and our overworked editorial team is dedicated to giving each and every one of them a careful read and returning to you with valuable feedback on your work.
Here's a Quick Update of Where Things Stand - May 15, 2012:
We've received 85 stories and have reviewed 49 of those.
Story judges are expected to complete review of all stories in about a week, but it will take longer
to respond to the authors with individual comments.
112 poems were submitted, and so far 30 have been reviewed.
There are fewer poetry editors on task than fiction editors, and so it may take the poetry judges another month.

Yep, we're under construction. But give us a break. We're writers not web monkeys.
Stop back, or shoot us an email if you're interested in learning more.
